In the morning part of this class, we will learn how to make the body of our owl using red low-fire clay and handbuilding techniques. After our lunch break, we will add add more detail carve textured feathers into our owl sculpture. We will finish our pieces by decorating with colored slips and glazes.

Sculptures will be fired in the kiln and ready for pick up in approximately 3 weeks.
