Join renowned Chicago artist Laura Williams for a hands-on, two-day workshop exploring the art of pinched and coiled ceramics. Learn to shape refined, story-driven vessels using traditional hand-building techniques. Develop confidence in drawing through guided exercises designed to spark creativity and play. In the second session, bring your pieces to life with decorative techniques using underglaze and terra sigillata.

Artist Bio: Laura Williams (they/she) is a Chicago-based artist and educator. Laura's work centers on material, narrative, color, and play. They seek to create a compelling and welcoming classroom for students of all ages and backgrounds. Laura studied ceramics at the University of Wisconsin and has taught classes at various ceramic studios for the last ten years.
