Class & Workshop Policies

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 14 days before the start date of a class or workshop are eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 14 days before the start date of a class or workshop are not eligible for refunds.

  • Registrations may not be transferred to another class or date.

  • If Red Wing Arts cancels a class due to instructor illness or unforeseen circumstances, students will be informed as soon as possible and will receive a full refund.

  • If there is insufficient enrollment, we will cancel class, notify registered students, and provide a refund or credit for all payments. Decisions are made approximately one week before classes begin.

  • Red Wing Arts assumes no responsibility for losses incurred due to lodging or travel arrangements.

All cancellation requests must be sent to molly.rivera@redwingarts.org

Note: These policies are for classes through Red Wing Arts only. For classes hosted by Red Wing Community Education (all K-4 afterschool classes and summer camps), please contact Naomi McCord at nkmccord@rwps.org or 651-385-4587.

Artwork Pick Up Policy

Completed projects will be ready approximately 3 weeks after the class date. You will be notified by phone or email when work is ready to pick up. Projects left more than 30 days after the class date will be discarded. If you cannot pick up your work by this date, please contact staff to make alternative arrangements.

Please note: Due to the nature of clay and the firing process, RWA cannot be held responsible for any damage to work caused by construction techniques or the firing and glazing processes.

Scholarship Policy

Red Wing Arts is committed to ensuring arts education is accessible to all members of our community. Scholarships are available to students of all ages and cover up to 100% of the class fee. Funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. If scholarship funds become limited, the total amount of funds per student will be capped and priority will be given to new applicants. In the event a class or workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment, students will have the option to transfer to a different class.

To request a scholarship, email molly.rivera@redwingarts.org.

Accessibility

We are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible environment for all. If you have a disability or specific access needs, please contact Molly Quinn at molly@redwingarts.org or 651-388-7569 so we can support your participation. We encourage advance notice when possible and will make every effort to accommodate.

Weather

Generally, RWA will remain open during inclement weather unless conditions are particularly hazardous. We follow the local school system for cancellation cues. In the event a class or workshop is cancelled due to weather, participants will be notified and given a full refund for the class or the option to transfer to another class.
