Red Wing Arts is excited to offer an Open Studio program. This is a great option for people who know the basics of working in clay and are looking to continue to grow their skills or continue their practice. For absolute beginners or those who need a refresher, we recommend taking our Introduction to Wheel or Fundamentals of Handbuilding series.  

Punch cards include one bisque and one glaze firing*, and use of our glazes. A 25 lb bag of clay is sold separately for $25/bag. No outside clay or glazes permitted.. Open Studio includes the presence of a monitor to guide you and answer your questions as needed! 

*For ceramic artists whose work exceeds the one bisque and one glaze firing offered per punch card, we also offer firings at the following rates: 1/3 kiln load=$15, 1/2 kiln load=$22, 2/3 kiln load=$30, Full kiln load=$45. Kiln load sizes are determined by our staff.  

We will provide a schedule with open studio hours - including day, evening and weekend options.
