Watch as professional potters and local celebrities face off, undertaking a series of challenges on the wheel that promise to entertain and inspire. The excitement culminates from 6 - 9 pm with the finals, where the day's top talents will vie for the coveted traveling clay trophy and ultimate bragging rights. Your participation in The RWA Pottery Throwdown not only promises a day filled with artful entertainment but also contributes to the continuation and growth of our vibrant, creative community. Event Details:
10 am - 12 pm: First round of competition ($50 per ticket)
Featuring Celebrity Potters: Bryan Soper (YMCA) , Alison Youngs (Salon With A Twist), Michelle Larson (Red Wing Area Chamber), Mayor Mike Wilson2 - 4 pm: Second round of competition ($50 per ticket)
Featuring Celebrity Potters: Sheena Tisland and MORE!6 - 9 pm: The Finals ($150 per ticket) - includes drinks, lite hors d'oeuvres, a live auction, and live music by The Tennessee Stiffs. Featuring Professional Potters: Jeff McDowell, Colleen Riley, Donovan Palmquist, and Kelly Connole.
Artists Tom Larkin & Glynnis Lessing will judge the event.
