Red Wing Arts seeks artists to participate in our 16th Annual Plein Air Festival.

Red Wing Arts is excited to announce the 16th Annual Plein Air Festival. This event and the artists that participate year after year are embraced by our community and our organization. Red Wing, MN which sits at the gateway to the Driftless Region, is a stunning place. The charming downtown, dramatic bluffs, rolling hills, vistas and winding rivers define the historic town.

Last summer’s event garnered so much success, community excitement and positive feedback. Red Wing Arts plans to give the artists and art appreciators the same opportunity this year to embrace and enjoy Red Wing’s distinctive attributes.

During Competition Week, RWA can arrange host housing (dependent on COVID), and will host workshops, demonstrations, and multiple paint out opportunities throughout the exhibition. Contact heather@redwingarts.org for more information. 

To apply for Juried Featured Class: Please submit by email 3 recent plein air images along with your contact information to artcall@redwingarts.org  

Application fee is $45.00 and may be paid online, by phone, or mail. Juried Featured Class artists pay no additional participation fee. RWA Artist Members, please use code “MEMBER” at checkout to receive your $5.00 discount.
