Our 2023 Poet Artist Collaboration features 68 juried artists and poets participating in an art exhibit, poetry readings, and published chapbook featuring all artwork and poetry of the participants.  

From the poems chosen, participating artists create a new piece of art inspired by one of the poems. The joy and challenge of this event is the translation of the emotion and story of the written words of a poet by an artist into a representative piece of art.

Join Red Wing Arts along with the participating poets and artists on Sunday, April 30 for a special Celebration of Poetry and Art event – a reading from our poets and presentation of the artwork created.  This ticketed event* will take place at the St. James Hotel beginning at 2pm. A free open house from 12-2 pm to view the exhibit in the Depot Gallery will precede the event at the St. James.*SOLD OUT
