Spend an inspiring weekend learning the ancient art of batik and create your own unique batik paintings! This weekend course is suitable for both complete beginners and those with some experience

We will be going through the stages from design to producing multi-layered batiks by applying wax as a resist and using dyes to create brilliant pieces with depth and color. We’ll practice crackling effect to achieve the characteristic batik effect. This two day workshop will offer students the opportunity to hone skills and finish the work.
