Create a clay vessel perfect for holding light and casting interesting shadows. Ceramic artist Ashley Hise will share surface design techniques and strategies for building up and subtracting areas of a pot to create a unique sculpture designed to be illuminated. A wheel-thrown leather hard pot will be provided to use as a ‘blank canvas.’
