Character art has always been my passion, this class aims to assist artists who just need a little nudge. It's intimidating, I know, but I'm here to help ya! I will explain my methods, as well as commonly known ideas like shape language (you'll find out what that means if you take the class ;)). By the end of the week, you can proudly look back at where you began, having created a cohesive, somewhat fleshed out character outta practically nothing! Come in with an idea, or a concept you have been thinking about creating, Or hey, we can brainstorm a bit at the beginning to get you started! Bring the mediums you're most comfortable with, or try something new; these techniques and ideas apply to art in general. So, whether you're using graphite or an Apple pencil, you can create something you will be able to continue after the week's end!!!
