Once you have selected your favorite colors and patterns, you’ll watch Kate assemble your finished piece into a shadowbox, then take it home with you!

Kate Whisler

I have always liked art that brings a smile to my face. The world around me inspires me to create lighthearted images. I love using simple graphics, color, and patterns to build a sense of whimsy. I was in my final year in architecture school when my brother and sister-in-law were expecting their first child.  I was attempting to be frugal when I came up with an idea for their baby shower gift.  I had access to a laser cutter through the college so I decided to get creative. This snowballed into my whimsical fun-filled art I hope makes you smile.
