About the exhibit:

North Shore:  Light, Water, and Wildness 

This collection traces the wild, shifting character of Minnesota’s Lake Superior North Shore—where granite, sky, and water constantly remake the scene. From the first light of sunrise to the soft drama of overcast shorelines, these photographs linger on moments that feel both vast and intimate: waterfalls in motion, quiet textures along the waterfront, and wildlife moving through its own rhythms. Together, the images form a visual walk along the edge of an inland sea—one shaped by weather, season, and time. The work invites viewers to slow down and notice how light changes everything: how mist softens rock, how a horizon can hold a whole mood, and how the natural world offers wonder again and again when we pay attention.
