Each month we feature an area artist in our Depot Shop - our May featured artist is Hannah Heyer. Come meet the artist on Saturday, May 16 from 1-4 pm!

Join us for a special pop-up event with the artist, including a live “still life” demonstration. Hannah will also have additional still life paintings for sale during this event.

Hannah Heyer is a Minnesota-based artist whose work explores the intersections of place, memory, and everyday experience. Inspired by local landscapes and communities, she creates pieces that feel both intimate and expansive, inviting viewers to notice the often-overlooked details of their surroundings. Her practice is unified by careful attention to texture, color, and composition.

Heyer’s work reflects a deep connection to place, translating familiar scenes into layered visual narratives that evoke both personal and shared histories. Through moments of stillness and transformation, her art encourages slow looking and open interpretation.
