In this beginner class, students will have the chance to design and create (2) micro mosaic pendants or pins using Italian glass “Filati”. We will cover all the steps of micro-mosaic creation, from selecting the substrate, design, tool use, cutting and setting the filati. Use your own design, or choose from a selection of design ideas for your pieces. Use of tools, substrates and all glass materials are included. No art or mosaic experience necessary. You will leave with at least one, if not two pieces of jewelry, AND the basic knowledge to move forward on your new mosaic adventure.

NOTE: This is a “MICRO”-mosaic class - meaning we work with small materials and tweezers. It is helpful to use magnifier or cheater glasses to see these tiny details.
