Creating handmade trinket plates or bowls with clay slabs is an excellent project for beginners.

You don't need much experience to make something beautiful and unique. All you need is some clay, a few tools, and your imagination.

Once you have your shape, you can add texture and design to your piece. You could use stamps, found objects, or even your fingertips to make impressions on the clay. You could also add color using underglazes or glazes.

In this class, you will make 4 small different-shaped trinket plates which make excellent gifts for friends and family. You could customize each one to match the recipient's style and taste.
