Explore the world of watercolor in this four-week series designed for beginners or those looking for a refresher. Each class explores core foundational skills including knowledge of materials, mixing different palettes, color theory, and mastering essential techniques like washes, layering, and controlled brushwork. Students will practice creating texture, gradients, wet-on-wet, dry brush, and more while learning how to balance water and pigment for confident, intentional results.
By the end of the series, participants will complete a small collection of studies and a finished piece that showcases their new skills. This relaxed, encouraging class is perfect for anyone curious about watercolor or looking to build strong fundamentals before moving on to more advanced projects.
