The Sheldon Theatre Brass Band was founded in 1989 as the resident performing ensemble at the newly restored, turn of the century T. B. Sheldon Theatre in Red Wing, Minnesota. We use the instrumentation of the traditional British Brass Band and play a broad variety of musical styles including original pieces for brass and percussion, marches, orchestral transcriptions, and unique arrangements for brass.

PLUS! Starting at 5 pm in Central Park, join us for a celebration and guided tour of the newest temporary sculptures around downtown Red Wing. This event features live music & artmaking with the City of Red Wing’s Arts & Culture Commission. Learn more about the sculptures from this year’s participating artists, then stay for the concert featuring the Sheldon Theatre Brass Band.

Concerts begin promptly at 7 pm, with food trucks opening at 6pm. These vibrant and energetic performances will take place in Central Park - the heart of our historic downtown, where the city's “living room” comes alive. Each year Red Wing Arts curates a diverse selection of regional bands, offering a wide range of musical genres to cater to varied tastes. Parking is allowed during the concert on both sides of East and West Avenues between 4th & 5th Streets.
Families and friends are encouraged to bring their chairs and coolers to enjoy these free live music events suitable for all ages. All are welcome!
