Upcycled Woven Potholders with Kirsten Wert

  • Red Wing Arts Clay & Creative Center 436 W 3rd St Red Wing, MN 55066 (map)

Join us to learn a new technique to make a classic woven potholder!  We will use handheld looms and pre-cut t shirts to make sturdy and functional potholders.  These are a great upgrade for your own kitchen or the perfect gift for a friend.  Learn how to upcycle your old t shirts into something you can use every day!  You will have time to complete one potholder in class and be able to check out the loom to finish your pair at home. Materials to make 2 potholders are included in the class. Ages 10+ welcome.
