Little Artists

  • Red Wing Arts Clay & Creative Center 436 West 3rd Street Red Wing, MN, 55066 United States (map)

Little Artists is an early-childhood arts program offering sensory-rich creative classes for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. The classes are held on the first Wednesday of each month at the Clay & Creative Center.

Through hands-on activities with tactile materials, Little Artists nurtures fine motor development, cognitive growth, and social-emotional skills. Process-based art emphasizes open-ended exploration and observation. Additionally, the program encourages bonding between children and their caregivers, strengthening healthy attachment and sense of well-being.

Each family who participates will receive a one-time art kit that includes basic art supplies to continue creating at home!

The classes are offered using a sliding-scale model of $5-$25 per family.

Class Information:

  • Date/Time: Wednesday, Oct. 7, 10-11am

  • Teaching artist: Cherish Haskell

  • Ages: 0-5 and caregivers

  • Participation fee: $5-$25 per family
